Wow, I was very impressed by this... Magical, mystical, AMAZING music And those vocals Seriously, this song is like...epic. And I don't call many things epic. But this song is definitely epic. I really love the musical build up through out. Like around 2 mins and what not, how the music gets thicker and louder... This seriously sets the most amazing feeling through out. Your voice is amazing in this, and the slight reverb touch to your vocals makes it that much satisfying to listen to. In my opinion, perfectly produced, perfectly designed...flawless in my mind. Definitely a DM classic

Ruth, your voice is perfect for this and as always!! -- Mike's music is perfect. I've heard this song before, but never done quite so well. Gentle, soothing, just like the nightingale sings.

wow, from start to finish i was totally mesmerized, no other goings on in the house even crept into my mind but your voice, the melody and the music. it was hard for me, on first listen, to even hear words as your extraordinary voice soothed me. on second listening i focused on hearing the story as you both captured and wove it into the fabric of this piece. absolutely beautiful, sadiron and melodic, soft and clean - approximately the best i've heard. mike and ruth.

Simply WAW!!!
Outstanding vocals, music & production.
There is so much captured here from the wonderful nature sounds to the delicassy of the them sweet vocals.
All the synthy atmosphere & instruments really add to the expression, love that breath-synth & that glassy-mirror effect that comes in around midway.
Some amazing talent here Mom & Dad - nice to see your not losing that magic touch... AWESOME!!!

Being old and English myself I'm something of an aficionado of old English folk.
This can be quite a dull song in the wrong hands but here it is delivered with charm and sensitivity. The instrumentation is both atmospheric and modern, and thankfully avoids Celtic or Gaelic cliches. My only criticism is the birdsong at the start which slightly diverts attention away from the vocal.
This is a quite lovely version of this song, certainly amongst the best I've heard, I listened to it several times and it made my morning a very pleasant one.
